Nokia 9 PureView is going to be the next flagship from HMD Global under the Nokia branding. The nokia penta-lens camera is expected to become the world’s first smartphone to feature a Penta-lens camera setup with five camera sensors. Report suggests that HMD Global might also be introducing computational photography technology. Renowned firm named Light for better low-light camera performance is also collaborating with HMD global for this.
Nokia has stopped mobile manufacturing and stepped in to camera and optic solutions. HMD global has taken over the brand rights for the Nokia manufacturing. After HMD global has also designed and developed some models recently. Most of the people still think nokia is manufacturing it’s mobiles. But for the reality HMD global is making and marketing them with Nokias reputation.
Nokia 9 pureview penta lens camera
As per a report by Nokia Power User, computational photography firm Light’s official press release stated that by using five sensors in a circular setup. The company’s technology can collect over 10 times the light in comparison to normal camera setup. While describing the constellation camera array solution Light also mentioned that its dedicated software which works on multiple platforms and devices, is capable of combining and fuse 10, 20, or even 40 images easily.
Meanwhile, the Nokia 9 PureView has been subjected to a lot of leaks as well as rumours. The smartphone is to launch during the MWC 2019. Nokia 9 PureView could sport a 5.9-inch Quad HD 3D OLED (2K) PureDisplay display coupled with HDR10 support. Powered by the Snapdragon 845 coupled with 8GB of RAM as well as 128GB inbuilt storage. Other features will also include camera sensors from Zeiss optics, Just like other Nokia smartphones, the mobile will also be based on the Android One platform.
